I wondered why, when faced with hardship, some of us are left forever fragile while others emerge all the stronger for it, more vibrant, loving and creative than before.

My Life

Tirza Calling Akashic Readings Healing Business Coaching Professional transformation.jpg

What didn’t kill me made me wiser.

I learned how to succeed as an outsider from living in so many countries, cultures and languages as a child. Though it left me with imposter syndrome (even at the top of my game) I was able to connect and understand people across cultural and ethnic divides.

My work experience has encompassed both public and private sectors, in media, urban policy, property management and development, and the arts — as a small business owner helping artists create in the world of commerce, supporting their creativity and growth.

I see my experiences — as an executive and entrepreneur, daughter to difficult aging parents, survivor of family upheavals and misfortune, a woman married and unmarried, heartbroken and in love, and mother of two sons — to be invaluable in understanding the rich complexity of the choices we make in the adventure that is our life.

Today, I feel at home in multicultural and multilingual settings. Ask me about my love for Spanglish. For jokes that can’t be translated. For fusion cooking. And the creative gifts of messy mistakes.

My Training

Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), trained at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) as a Life, Professional and Executive Coach. I use mindfulness in dialogue, curiosity and deep listening that can achieve surprising takeaways – a lovely combination of being and doing, awareness and actualization.

Certified Advanced Akashic Healer, trained by Brynne Dippell, Ph.D.  The Akasha are a collective store of knowledge, from the Sanskrit “the basis and essence of all things in the material world.”

The Akashic readings illuminate your higher self, your life’s work, your relationships, your decisions, and your creativity. It’s a way of finding connection to what you want to create in your life, in the most expansive, loving and supported way.

Brynne Dippell began her journey as a psychotherapist, so the integration between the emotional and spiritual in her school of healing is all the more profound and transformative.

Also feeding my practice:

  • Advanced studies at the Sacred Center School of the Healing Arts & Sciences

  • Health Kinesiologist, Level III

  • A student of yoga for many years, as well as yoga therapy at Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy

What Called Me

I wondered why, when faced with hardship, some seem unable to recover and left forever fragile, while others emerge renewed and even more loving, vibrant and creative than ever before.

I knew this much: I didn’t want to be defeated by hardship or heartbreak, to live awash in regrets. Nor did I want to ignore or forget my wounds and struggles. I wanted to honor them without letting them own me. I wanted to love all that I had been through in my life that helped awaken me. To see my life as a tapestry of my struggles and joys.

Looking back, my journey seems magical, suffused in gratitude and wonder.  I was able to walk out of a thorny thicket into a cherished life.

I invite you to do the same.

“Every call with Tirza is a sacred walk.”
